Nate Bihldorff is a senior localization manager and producer of Nintendo Treehouse, the localization division of Nintendo of America. He is best known for his work on the Mario & Luigi series, the Paper Mario series, and Animal Crossing.[1]

Biography

Bihldorff graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 1998 with a degree in English with concentration in creative writing.[2] Bihldorff first worked for Nintendo as a video game tester on Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and later worked at Nintendo Power.[3] He initially declined the offer to work full-time for Nintendo Treehouse, but following a near-death experience during snowboarding in Vermont he called Nintendo and accepted the job.[2]

Bihldorff's first project was writing the English text for Paper Mario, which was released for the Nintendo 64 in 2001.[4]
